Integral Waterproofing

CONGUARD ICW is specially formulated integral liquid waterproofing compound composed of surface active plasticising agents. It reduces the water demand for required workability and minimises segregation and bleeding. Being a liquid, It is easily dispersible & compatible with concrete / mortar mixes.

CONGUARD ICW make concrete more cohesive, hence protects steel better against corrosion. It can be used in all types of concrete and mortar that is used in all types of residential, commercial and infrastructural construction.

Benefits and key Features

CORROSION RESISTANT
Make concrete more cohesive, hence protects steel better against corrosion.
COMPATIBILITY
Being a liquid, easily dispersible & compatible with concrete/mortar mixes.
LESS PERMEABILITY
It reduces the permeability of water into concrete.
HIGH STRENGTH
The setting time and compressive strength of the concrete remains within the specification limits.
MINIMUM SHRINKAGE
Reduces shrinkage crack development in plaster & concrete.
IMPROVED WORKABILITY
Improves workability of freshly mixed cement concrete.

We Help to Make it Possible”

MIXING & APPLICATIONS
  • Charge cement & aggregates to concrete mixer as per the mix design. Mix in dry state for 1-2 minutes.
  • Start addition of 75-80% mixing water & mix 2-3 minutes.
  • Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves & goggles while using the product.
  • CONGUARD ICW is added per the recommended dosages in to the remaining mixing/gauging water, then add to concrete mixer & mix for another 2 minutes.
  • Place the concrete or apply plaster, as needed.
  • Cure the applied mortar or concrete as per good construction practices.
DOSAGE: Minimum 100g for 50 kg bag of cement (0.2% by weight of cement) & maximum dosage 200 ml per 50 kgs of cement, if maximum dosage is used a minimum of 15% water should be reduced to ensure no loss in strength. Site trails shall be carried out to arrive at the optimum dosage.
